Okay, so I've been writing this story and posting it on WattPad. It's like deviantart but it's exclusively for writers.
I love this website but my only reviewer is my sister. She's very good and quite helpful, I have no complaints about her being my reviewer except for one little thing.
I need more than one.
I desperately want to improve my writing, my mechanics, I want people to show me what needs fixing so I can improve with it. Please.

Things I've Noticed

So there's something I've noticed about different things I do with my art.
The more realistic it is the more people are impressed with it.

Now, the first was was a larger project, and therefor took more time. However, there is only one colored image out of at least five other images on there and none of them are my best work. The coloring on that one image of Aurin took me thirty minutes, forty five at the most.
Rhama, on the other hand, was the shortest of all of these pieces time wise. Her sketch, pose, color, and shading took less time than Aurin's reference sheet or the new piece of Zani.
The picture of Zani was a serious investigation in light, shadow, style, and posing. I'll admit, it's not my best picture of her, particularly with her feet, but I worked longer and harder on it than I did with Aurin or Rhama.
SO what I'm getting at is that the less realistic and more cartoony things I draw the less impressed people tend to be with it, especially if I use hard cell shading like I did with Zani.
What I'm asking is WHY is realism so much more impressive than cartoonism?
Why is a comic drawn in half an hour more impressive than a piece that took hours and hours of labor that's just one picture?
Why is soft shading more impressive than cell shading?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not angry or upset, I'm just curious and inquisitive. I'd like to know why Aurin and Rhama are somehow more attention getting than Zani is with their different style. I would like to know the differences between them.

Request/Trades

I'm now taking requests and trades. I doubt this will get much attention, but here's what's involved:
I am taking ink requests, full ink shading and line art, just the character in black and white. Send me references of your character and give me specifics about what you want. Do not tell me to just draw your character(s). Give me background so I can keep them IN CHARACTER.
Sorry to be so picky about it, but the more I know the better I can do it.
For trades, do the same thing, be specific, but these will involve full color and shading, if included in your half of the trade. I am willing to trade writing pieces or illustrate writing pieces if you so desire. If you do, send me a note please.

QUESTIONS
1. Who is the person (someone in your life presently) whom has inspired you to be whom you are today?
There's no one specific who inspired me wholly. It's more like a cacophony of people, events, and presences that have individually shaped my character in so many minuscule ways that have made me as a whole, what I am.
2. What is the title of your favourite tome? (book)
Ohh. . . Crap. Uhh, I did really enjoy Dracula, the Fablehaven series, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, the last book of the Inkheart series, the last half of the Inheritance series, the Dragonriders of Pern series, The Once and Future King, The Chronicles of Amber, uhmm. . . I know I have others ^^' I just don't remember all of them.
3. Vanilla or Chocolate?
Both! But at different times!
4. What did you have for breakfast today?
Leftover steak and potatoes, a piece of gluten-free toast, and a small cup of coffee.
5. Do you know what a $2.00 bill is?
I thought that was obvious. It's a $2.00 bill.
6. What is your most favorite television show?
Netflix is a wonderful thing. I love Doctor Who, Supernatural, Bones, Criminal Minds, Angel and other stuffs.
7. Flying or Sailing?
Sailing, on a real boat, not a big honking metal one, I've been on both, the real boats are so much more peaceful.
8. What is your favourite flower?

I like dogs, but I like other people's dogs, and I only prefer nice cats to dogs. I do not like mean, evil cats.
11. Where do you want to go with all your heart?
My future dream home, where it's green, not too hot in the summer and snows in the winter but doesn't freeze your toes off or bury your house.

Summer nighttime when the moon is full and the stars are out.
13. If you were to go to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, what would you eat first?
The teacups.
